Central League Meet, and moving on to the District 1-AAA Meet

Congratulations to all of those who competed in the Central League meet at Lower Merion yesterday. Special congrats to district qualifiers Erik McCallion (800), Trey Blair (100), Collin Ney (long jump), Curtis Weh (long jump), and Britt Riegler (triple jump).  Speaking of districts, we will be doing district-qualifier t-shirts again this year. Here’s a peak at what they’ll look like (if we have additional qualifiers at Saturday’s Henderson meet, they will be added).

Boys and Girls Track Banquets 2018

The Girls Track Banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 30, at 6:00pm, at the historic Lamb Tavern.  The Boys Track Banquet will be held on the following Wednesday, June 6, at 6:00pm, at The McCall Golf and Country Club. Ask your coaches for more information.

CLC Meet on Wednesday, Radnor Girls JV Meet on Tuesday

Track athletes – the JV girls will run at Radnor on Tuesday, 5-8-2018. The distance lineup is online.  The Varsity boys and girls will run the Central League Individual Championships on Wednesday, 5-9-2018, at Lower Merion. That distance lineup is posted too. Communicate with coaches and teammates re: bus times. Boys who are finished competing should TURN IN UNIFORMS ASAP.  Thanks. Go Fords.

Congratulations to the boys and girls who competed at the Delco Championships this weekend. Boys and girls top-six finishers are below. “AAA” indicates district qualifying mark:

Michael Moffett – triple jump

Michael Donnelly – 3200 meters

Trey Blair – javelin, 100 meters

Chasen Wint – shot put, discus

Brendan Campbell – 800 meters (AAA)

Aiden Tomov – 1600 meters (AAA)

Josh Fingerhut – 1600 meters
