Coach Aaron Hunter
Coach Hunter is the head coach of boys track and field at Haverford.
Aaron Hunter was born and raised in Philadelphia, the third of four children. He was All-Delco and All-State as a high school track athlete competing in sprints and jumps.
Coach Hunter graduated from Lincoln University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Health Science. At Lincoln he was a two-time All-American and was All-CIAA and All-IC4A. His PR’s are 47.9 for 400 meters, 7.75 meters for the long jump, and 15.24 meters for the triple jump.
Coach Hunter is in his fifth year coaching at Haverford High School. Additionally he is in his ninth season as Assistant Coach of the Delco Stallions (AAU). He’s also a USATF Level One-certified coach. Coach Hunter is currently working towards earning his Masters degree at IUP in Health and Physical Education.
