Coach Brigid Harron
Coach Harron is an assistant track and field coach who specializes in high jump and hurdles.
Coach Harron is a 2009 graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School. She was a member of the highly successful O’Hara track and field team. She was part of eight indoor and outdoor PCL Championships as well as a member of the team when they won the PIAA District Championships. Brigid was first team All Catholic at O’Hara. She was also All Delco her senior year in the high jump. During her senior year, Brigid qualified for states in the high jump. She went on to high jump at West Chester University where she qualified for the PSAC championships for the indoor and outdoor seasons. She also ran hurdles while at West Chester University. After college, Brigid coached the O’Hara high jumpers/hurdlers for a year.
Brigid is a Kindergarten teacher in the Bryn Mawr area. She has her degree in Education from West Chester University and is also certified in special education. She is excited to bring her knowledge of the high jump and hurdles to the Fords track and field team!
