Elizabeth Clinton is the assistant coach for both the girls and boys Cross-Country teams.

Coach Elizabeth graduated from Haverford in 2012, where she was a member of the Cross-Country and Indoor/Outdoor Track & Field teams. Elizabeth was a varsity letter holder all four years and a captain her senior year. During her time on the team, girls HXC were 3-time Central League Champions and took the Delco Championship title for Haverford girls for the first time since the 1980s.

Elizabeth continued running in college where she was the captain and president of the Club Cross-Country and Track & Field teams at the University of Delaware. She received her honors degree in International Relations and Arabic from UD in 2016. In her post-graduate career, Elizabeth has continue to compete in distance races, including multiple marathons and the Two Oceans ultra-marathon.

Elizabeth works for a sport-based youth development program called Safe-Hub. Much like at Haverford, Safe-Hub believes that the holistic development of an athlete is more important than winning. Coach Elizabeth has been a coach with HXC since 2019.
