Coach Josh Fidler is the throws coach as well as a PE teacher at Haverford. He has been coaching the throwing events since 2008.  Coach Fidler is formerly a district champion and state runner-up in the shot-put and a 2 time district runner-up in the discus.

Coach Fidler went on to train under 3-time Olympian Jud Logan and US champion Kevin Toth while at Ashland University before transferring to West Chester University and becoming a 3-year starter for the Golden Rams football team.

While at Haverford, Coach Fidler has coached 6 state championship qualifiers, 12 district qualifiers, 1 district champion, multiple Central League and Delco champions and every school record holder for both males and females in the 3 throwing events. Coach Fidler is a confident competitor and patient teacher, and this unusual and ideal combination has made him one of the best throws coaches in the area.
