Coach Laura Clinton
Laura Clinton is the head coach for girls cross country, and assistant coach for the distance events in track.
Coach Clinton is a 2004 graduate of Haverford High School where she was a member of the Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field teams. As a senior, Laura was a captain and varsity member of the 2003 Central League Champion Cross Country Team, which went undefeated in league meets and qualified for the PIAA State Championships by placing 5th at the District One Championships. Laura went on to run Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where she earned a varsity letter during all 4 years of her running career. Laura began teaching in the Haverford School District in 2014 and is currently a special education teacher at Haverford High School.
Coach Clinton brings extensive knowledge of plyometrics, bio-mechanics, running technique, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and yoga to her work as head coach. She is proud and excited to be a member of the Fords XC and Track family again.
