Outdoor track is awesome. The sun comes out, it warms up, we work outside every day. It’s a truly great sport. This page is under construction, so check back soon for more info for sprinters, jumpers, throwers, hurdlers.
Haverford is a member of the Central Athletic League. We run Central League meets during the week, usually (but not always) on Wednesdays. One of our goals as a program is to win the league championship. The order of events at league meets looks like this:
Spring Training Cycle #1 (2018) for distance runners is HERE.
Spring Training Cycle #2 for distance is HERE.
The GIRLS Spring Track Packet (PDF) is HERE. Much useful info for BOYS can be found in this packet too.
A more recent version of the PIAA Physical Form can be found HERE.
All athletes should consult the Cross Country page – plenty of useful information there.
In addition to our league meets, we run invitational meets on most weekends, and we host our own Haverford Invitational on Saturday, April 7. In spring track there are qualifying standards for the PIAA District One (AAA) meet in Coatesville, then there are PA state qualifying standards for the PIAA State Championships (AAA) in Shippensburg. Another goal of the program is to qualify as many athletes as possible for the district and state meets. Qualifying standards are below. (FAT = Fully Automatic Time)
